1975年宮崎県延岡市出身　福岡市在住
福岡教育大学小学校教員養成課程美術科日本画研究室卒
水谷興志先生に師事
福岡市を拠点に各地で個展・グループ展を行い、作品を発表。海外にも活動の場を広げている。
また、日本画のカルチャースクールやワークショップを開催し、日本画の振興に努めている。

Statement

自らが出逢った季節の花々や生き物達に、日常の中で生まれてくる人の『情』を投影し、日本画という、古来、日本に伝わってきた絵画の技法とその精神にのっとって制作をしています。
要素を削ぎ落としたモチーフだけの構図は、琳派やジョージア・オキーフの作品に影響を受けています。
近作は、銀箔を硫黄で変化させ侘びた味わいを引き出す『焼箔』技法を用いることで、時の移ろいを表現し、簡潔な構図の画面に奥行きをもたらしています。

To flowers and the creatures of the season when I met, I reflect "the Emotion" born in life and produce it in conformity with the 日本画 Japanese-style painting technique and the mind that reached Japan from ancient times.
The composition only for the motif which trimmed an element is affected by a work of 琳派 Rin-pa and Georgia O'Keeffe.
In the recent work, I use technique the "焼箔 sulfidation foil " which changes Wabi taste silver foil with sulfur , and express passage of the time and bring the depth to a screen of concise composition.
